VTU has four regional centers in Karnataka that are located in Bangalore, Mysore, Belgaum, and Gulbarga. These Regional centers function as a shadow of VTU Belgaum. A certain number of Colleges are assigned to each center.

Lalbagh(Red) Botanical Garden also known as Lalbagh park is located in Bangalore. Hyder Ali initially commissioned the construction of Lalbagh in 1760. It was later completed by his son Tipu Sultan. Lalbagh has an area of 240 acres (0.97 Km2).
