VTU Clearance Certificate Autonomous Scheme 2018 – 2019


Clearance Certificate for the students migrating to Autonomous Scheme in the academic year 2018 – 2019

This is to inform that the students who are willing to join the VTU Autonomous Colleges from Other University in India and abroad for the year 2018-19 should obtain Clearance Certificate from VTU.

Further, after obtaining the Clearance Certificate, a candidate has to obtain syllabus equivalence from the admitting Autonomous College and may follow norms as specified in the Notification for Change of College for the academic year 2018-2019.

Procedure for Clearance Certificate:

  1. The student needs to submit an application addressed to Registrar, VTU, Belagavi clearly mentioning the postal address, e-mail id and contact No.
  2. Last date to receive the application at VTU, Belagavi: 20-07-2018
  3. Please Note that Distance Mode / External / Online Degrees are Not ACCEPTED.
  4. Non-refundable Processing Fees: Processing fee of Rs. 5,000/- to be paid online through
    http:/ /vtu.ac.in/online-fee-payment/
  5. Categories of Migration :
    1. Migrating from VTU Affiliated Colleges

      1. Permitted only to join 3rd / 5th semester
      2. The candidate with backlog subjects will not be permitted
    2. Migrating from Indian University

      1. Permitted only to join 3rd / 5th semester
      2. Documents to be submitted:
        Migrating from Indian University. Documents to be submitted
        Document/s Attested by
        Photocopy UGC Notification for establishment parent University Registrar of University
        Photocopy of Concerned State Government Notification for the establishment of parent
        University
        Registrar of University
        Photocopy of UGC notification for recognition of parent University under section 2(f) of
        UGC Act 1956
        Registrar of University
        UGC /AICTE notification for the list of courses to Registrar of University be offered Registrar of University
        Photocopy of 10+2/PUC marks card * Any gazetted officer
        Photocopies of Previous semesters marks cards/ grade card ** Any gazetted officer
        (attested on both sides)
        Migration from parent University To be submitted at the time of admission to the admitting college

        Please Note:
        * the candidate shall fulfill the minimum academic eligibility as notified by Karnataka State Govt./ VTU
        ** the candidate with backlog subjects will not be permitted for admission under VTU

    3. Migrating from Foreign University:

      1. Permitted only to join 3rd / 5th semester
      2. Documents to be submitted:
        Migrating from Foreign University. Documents to be submitted.
        Document/s Attested by
        Recognition from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi Under seal of AIU in original
        Photocopy of 10+2/PUC marks card * Any gazetted officer
        Photocopies of Previous semesters /years marks cards/ grade card ** Any gazetted officer
        Migration from parent University at the time of admission
        Photocopy of Passport # Any gazetted officer
        Photocopy of Visa # Any gazetted officer

        Please Note:
        * the candidate shall fulfill the minimum academic eligibility as notified by Karnataka State Govt./ VTU
        ** the candidate with backlog subjects will not be permitted for admission under VTU
