No SMS for you today
Do you get this following message when ever you try to send a SMS to your friend, relative, or spouse….
“HI! YOU HAVE SENT 5 SMS TODAY. AS PER GOVT. GUIDELINES, YOU CAN,T SEND MORE OUTGOING PERSON TO PERSON SMS TODAY. YOUR SMS SERVICES WILL BE RESUMED POST MIDNIGHT.”
or
“DUE TO GOVT. DIRECTIVES, MORE THAN 5 SMS PER DAY ARE BLOCKED. PLEASE RETRY TOMORROW. ANTICIPATE YOUR CO-OPERATION.”
Yeah, its true. Now, no one can send SMSs more than 5 times a day. It’s the Indian government’s decision started today, 18th August, to stop people from sending rumors about ongoing violence in Assam. The government is supposedly going to restore the SMS service back from 2nd September on-wards; I think I have to freeze myself until 2nd September. I wonder how am I going to live until 2nd September without messaging more than 5 times a day.

Single SMS is enough. Wondering why this crazy 5 sms limit is there. Irritating. Anyhow smartphone users can now use SMS Gateway options to send unlimited SMS.

This is the worst decision government has taken, why they don’t think that there are so many ways to spread rumours even if they restrict SMS to 0, rumours can be sent!!!

It is really foolish decision made by the government even by 5 sms rumours can spread it is no the solution for this problem. Plz change the decision….
